Wayward Capitalism Hurts Business and Labor

In an economy controlled by multi-billionaires and corrupt politicians, no one is immune to economic injustice. Local businessmen are up against unfair trade practices and employees are subject to what amounts to economic servitude.

Every day we play into our masters’ hands by allowing them to keep us divided, dumb and disoriented.

For centuries activists have sought relief by fighting on the political front, begging the perpetrators to change their ways. But the solution will not be found in the boardroom or the caucus room.

We may be impotent in politics, but we are still the core of economics!

NotMyEconomics is here to lead you away from political diversion to the economic front where you will relearn the history that got us here, restore your faith in your own power, rethink your response and re-launch your battle.

NotMyEconomics is non-political and fights on the side of both workers and employers. Unrestrained capitalism is as bad for business as it is for labor. The entrepreneurial class is as much a victim as the working class — our friends and neighbors, our community and our country are in trouble.

In an economy controlled by multi-billionaires and corrupt politicians, no one is immune to economic injustice. Local businessmen are up against unfair trade practices and employees are subject to what amounts to economic servitude. Our way of life, our educational system, our safety net and our planet are all failing and we seem powerless.

But we are not powerless. We are not using our residual power. First we have to understand how we’ve been played by the game. Then we need to learn how to change the game. It is clear the political system — which is part of the problem —can’t be part of the solution.

For centuries activists have sought relief by fighting on the political front, begging the perpetrators to change their ways. But the solution will not be found in the boardroom or the caucus room. If we are to win the war we will have to give up on false intermediaries and do it ourselves.

And we can. We may be impotent in politics, but we are still the core of economics!

In fact, the time has never been better for us to take back our economy, our freedom and our democracy. Economic injustice has reached such extreme proportions that people are universally outraged and rebellion is underway on both sides of the political fence. We are divided on secondary issues, yet together in our outrage against economic injustice.

But we’re ineffective, unknowing, unfocused. All that energy is being wasted on the tactics of protest, resistance, trivia and ridicule. We place all our attention on the secondary issues. Though critical, they are unsolvable until we stop the root of all evil — economic injustice.

Worse, we are unwitting partners in crime.

Every day we still play into our masters’ hands by allowing them to keep us divided, dumb and disoriented. Our obsessions with personalities and their travesties unintentionally grow their power. He who occupies the stump gets all the attention and false leaders love name recognition: “I don’t care what you say as long as you spell my name right.”

All this diverts us from a plan of our own, to take responsibility and develop tactics that will win. There is no one else here to fight for us.

NotMyEconomics is here to lead you away from political diversion to the economic front where you will relearn the history that got us here, restore your faith in your own power, rethink your response and re-launch your battle.
